A sliding door between two rooms needs to be replaced by an indoor dividing wall. Dimensions are: 1.75m wide and 2.5m high. Residential location (Docklands, close to Etihad Stadium). Job details:
1) Remove existing sliding door (saving for re use)
2) Construct fire rated/acoustic wall Type IN 3.04 to infill door opening as per plans provided
3) Trowel up new wall in readiness for painting
4) Paint new wall to match existing colour
5) Refit existing sliding door on top of the wall for decorative purposes and make good skirting
6) On completion remove all associated debris and leave site tidy
The builder should be registered with the Building Practitioners Board and provide a DBU number in the quote.
As part of the quote, I am interested in:
1. How much would it cost?
2. If the quote is accepted when can you start?
3. How long would it take from quote acceptance to delivery?
4. What is your DBU number, as registered with the Building Practitioners Board?
5. Confirm compliance with specifications.
