we have a two story house, though the downstairs is not legal hight.
the stairs have one set of stringer to the first landing then again to the door landing, so its a L shape with the rest of the stairs made of timber on concret block foundations.
the new stairs we want will be bigger with a larger plateform from the door & also another plateform half way down with the direction of the staires moving in a u shape & with the thought that the house may be raised in a few years time.
we are wanting quotes but are ready to act as soon as we can as im two weeks off having our first baby & i don't feel the stairs are stable enough anymore.
There is also building renovations to be done inside so there will be more work need in the next few months ahead.
