I have a full-height (1900H x 950W) timber bookcase with twin doors (timber frame, glass insert). I want to reduce this to a half height bookcase, doesn't need to be a perfect job. Will require... I have a full-height (1900H x 950W) timber bookcase with twin doors (timber frame, glass insert). I want to reduce this to a half height bookcase, doesn't need to be a perfect job. Will require the shell to be cut in half (there is a fixed middle shelf currently which will serve as a new top), and the doors cut in half too (glass will need to be removed and reinserted, but I can arrange for a glazer to do that if needed).
