I have a queen sized canopy bed, and the head and foot-boards are just one piece (absolutely MASSIVE!), and it's too large to get through doorways. I was hoping it would be possible to make it so the slats at the top of each can come off and be re-attached the same way the slats joining the head and foot-boards together can be, with the metal things that you just slide on.
