The dimensions are approx 5400x20x75 cm.
the aim is to provide book, cd storage etc. it would run along a wall on the floor.
whilst i have stated this is a bookcase, it would need sliding or hinged doors all the way along.
the wall has a skirting board, that the cabinet would need to be fitted around so that it was plush against the wall.
the cabinet might have two or three shelves - including the base.
the sort of thing i would like is a white long version of the ikea besta cabinet (which retails for $99 for your reference - i know this will be much more than that!), but with doors. ie a typical reasonable quality white laminate or bleached/stained pine kind of thing.
i was unsure which budget option to select on the form, so please regard it as a rough guide only. at this stage we are ready to get this built, but i am first after an approximate idea of cost so that we can work out whether it is worth proceeding.
