I need a desk that will accommodate two desktop computers, with a central under-desk 3-drawer unit (2 pencil, including one with insert and 1 set up for suspension files). i’d like a light coloured, polished timber – pine or beech. i rely on your advice as to the thickness of the desktop to avoid sag from the weight of the pcs – 25 mm? 30 mm?
although i’d be installing the unit myself, perhaps you could provide countersunk holes suitable for attaching the support brackets? i intend to attach the desktop to the drawer unit and two end supports perpindicular to and of the same material as the desktop.
dimensions of desktop are l 2700, w 600, h 740. please let me know if you want an e-mailed drawing of the proposed unit.
