Building a custom workstation

Greetings,
I am trying to build a workstation along one wall in my house.
I am after something that is 4m long with 3 sets of drawers at a suitable height for sitting at in an office chair.
The space available is 4m long and 0.62m deep. Aside from that, if you have any better suggestions as to how it can be constructed I am happy to accept advice.
I have drawn up a guide as to what I am after (See http://i.imgur.com/q8WShFLh.png).
- The dark blue at the top is the bench top.
- The light blue bits are for drawers (5 drawers in each unit) I left space available at the bottom for the feet.
- The green bit is for a panel to hide cabling behind (I want to run power to each area and figured it would be easier to do it behind a panel rather than inside the existing wall).
There is an existing kitchen bench (See http://i.imgur.com/22BPK5z.jpg) in the room which I would like to match it to if possible. I would like the new workstation to match the existing benchtop with laminate top of a similar colour.
