Job Description:
I want to convert my attic to a liveable space. i already have a ladder installed, i need to install some floor joists and a internal wall between the terraces (its the roof space of an inner city terrace). i will put down flooring but I need a qualified carpenter to come in and install the proper sized joists and make the frame for the internal wall. Not really sure about the budget, with materials, but its a inner city newtown terrace that is about 4.5m by 10m in floor space. The 10m section spans two rooms, with an internal brick wall for support. I reckon it would take between 2 and 6 days of work for 1 person. Your quote will include the basic work, plus optional installation of a simple skylight.
