Currently have a dinning room that i want to convert into a study/bedroom. the room is currently open on 1 side so needs a wall with door installed. the room is central to the house, ie does not have any windows, so also want to install small windows at top of wall to allow some natural light in. i also want to put a doorway with a sliding door in one of the existing walls which will lead to another area of the house.the wall that is to be installed would be approx 3 metres in length. the house is only a couple of years old and to my understanding is build with no internal load bearing walls so i dont perceive there to be any structural issues...
