Hi, i'm looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter to install a solid core door for soundproofing. I just need the door installed and the architraves,
I plan to purchase the door and door hinges, timber and I already have framing nails.
Details below:
- Existing opening for door in place (interior room. Opening is framed, plastered by builder ready for install)
- Door jamb required to be installed with max 3mm clearance to door. This is important as I will be fitting door seals that require a max 3mm clearance to work properly.
- Door jamb frame required on floor under door also (so no sound escapes under floor.
- Door I will purchase will be 45mm for soundproofing. I will also purchase heavy duty hinges for the door
- Architraves required to be installed to match existing
- Door stop not required. I will install this myself when I fit the seals.
