Ramp put onto rear deck

We have an old dog that has trouble climbing thye stairs on our rear deck. we are wanting to get a ramp put in that goes from the rear deck to the top level of our backyard. A distance of roughly 2 metres. If this can't be done then maybe a ramp that can be put over the existing stairs that can be removed if need be.
