Corner Square Front Entry Porch. Existing 2.3 metres x 2.3 metres flat roof (galvanised metal roof) is damaged, with a large hole in centre, which is fixed to a timber frame work, and lined with a painted FC sheet panel on the underside (ceiling). Timber frame, and fascia, barge boards are also partially damaged from long term wet/dry rot. Weatherboard house dates from the late 1950's-early 1960's, and the damaged porch is part of this original construction. The corner front entry porch is supported by a single steel welded column on one corner of the square roof, while two walls of the house, provide the fixed/attached support in the opposite corner of the porch roof. The steel corner column is fixed into the RC floor slab, but it is now almost completely breaking away from its fixed support, from long term rust damage. The column needs to be completely replaced with a new square 90 x 90mm treated timber column, together with a new concrete bolt-down post anchor. New flat roof to be BHP Colorbond 'Cottage Green', with matching fascia, guttering and downpipe (fixed to new 90 x 90mm timber post and emptying into front garden below). New roof should be angled approximately 5-7 degrees (confirm on-site) for adequate water-runoff into the gutter. Side of new roof to be fitted with Colourbond 'Cottage Green' barge panel piece. New FC sheet panel fitted to ceiling, and painted Acrylic Lo-sheen White (to future specification). New timber column to be painted Gloss Acrylic colour matched to Colorbond 'Cottage Green'. This job requires the contractor to supply and install all materials , fixtures, fittings and paint work. All rubbish and demolished construction need to be removed and disposed of by the contractor.
