Building west face (approx 10lm x 6.5lm)
the works are remove existing weather boards and supply and install acoustic/thermal batts, building wrap (ie sisalation) and weatherboards including but not limited to:
• removal existing weatherboards and stockpile in back yard/or dispose off site;
• removal of existing side gate and store on site for reuse
• removal of section of fence if required and store on store for reuse
• 75mm thick acoustic/thermal (r rating not less than 2r rating) batts
• building wrap (ie. sisalation gladiator breather for insulation, weatherproof and condensation or similar approved);
• weathertex classic smooth weatherboards (primed prior to installation) or similar approved;
• ventilation gaps west face of building to be a number of parallel hardwood timbers each approx 50mm height each with approx 10mm gap between each;
• unfixing/refixing services and boiler;
• corner stops;
• caulking around windows, etc; and
• providing suitable access (ie. safe working at height)
in accordance with australian standards, manufactures installation requirements, heritage overlay standards and other current standards.
note that packing may be required to achieve vertical/square finish
works by others:
• disposal of rubbish (will do so if stockpiled in rear yard and on completion)
• painting with exception of priming
