Current top is probably chipbord and has been tiled. Seal has gone and water has got into chipbourd and lifted tiles. Simplest solution is to remove entire top - approx 1600 x 600 - with a single piece of melamine or whatever kitchen tops are made of. Would need s/s sink to come out and refitted. Also reseal to tiled wall
