Supply & Installation of 2 pieces of Eave Fascia Board

I posted this job on 22/9/16 and this tradesperson/Company immediately expressed an interest in undertaking the job and took up 1 of the 3 available spots being offered for quotes. I waited 4 days for them to contact me and heard nothing. I then emailed them requesting that they confirm whether they are still interested so that I could move forward if they weren’t and 3 days later – still no response! They took up 1 of the 3 available spots that could have been taken up by someone that was ACTUALLY interested instead of wasting my time. In my opinion, that’s just selfish and they get ZERO points from me for reliability. I’ve noticed on many other customer’s reviews where they have experienced the same and in my opinion, Tradespersons/Companies that express an interest in a job and then don’t contact the customer should be issued a monetary penalty. I’m intending on raising this matter with Service Central.

I posted this job on 22/9/16 and of the 3 businesses that expressed an interest, this was the only one that actually contacted me via telephone, then followed up with a site visit, then actually provided a quote. Unfortunately the price quoted was much more than I expected to or was prepared to pay and I therefore decided not to proceed with the job. In my communications with Les (That Handyman), he was at all times pleasant & polite and had the quote not been higher than I was prepared to pay for the job, I would not have hesitated in contracting him.
