12sqm concrete slab from kitchen - totally removed or approx 6cm sanded off

need to lower concrete slab level in kitchen by approx 6cm to allow for batons and wooden floor to be installed to be flush with existing floor in other rooms.
Happy for either concrete slab to be just sanded of by 6cm, or totally removed and we will then put down new footings and full size batons
Kitchen is being remodeled so all kitchen cabinets and existing lino will be removed ready for job.
Room is approx 12 sqm
