A new patio roof has been put up . the area to concrete level is approx 35sqm but could be upto 45 depending on advice from contractor. plain slab 100mm with rated 52 reinforcing should be fine. no cars will be driven on it. as the surface area has been greatly disturbed : garden beds & trees having been removed , some areas to be concreted are "soft" and will need packing. the area is also not spirit level, so will need made so . i'm looking at a standard smooth finish painted, with a hardwearing 2 part polymer finish as the area will be used for dancing.
