Dan requested 3 quotes from Concreters in Redfern
Job is for the replacement of a raised timber (tongue and groove) floor on ground floor of building with concrete.
Area is currently utilised for storage, so ideally the work would be completed in two sections (17.9sqm and 8.1sqm). We would transfer stored items from one area to the other between jobs. Alternatively it may be possible to store items elsewhere if this is a cheaper option.
The area currently has a partially collapsed raised timber floor (from dry rot and termite damage), and a section of poorly laid concrete - these will be removed prior to the new floor and you're welcome to quote for this work.
We are unsure whether some of the existing floor can be salvaged or whether it would be cheaper to remove it all (it would have to be assessed) – certainly some sections have completely disintegrated (including the bearers and the joists)
The successful completion of this work will lead to the offer of another almost identical (a larger area with no stored items) job in the same building.
Further information is available. Inspection is welcome.
