I engaged Stan Wierzbicki from All Safe Foundations to lay a 9x6 meter concrete slab for my new shed. Overall I am very unhappy with the quality of Stan's service !0 Stan failed to provide a written quote and ended up charging us more. 2) failed to survey the site properly prior to quoting. He failed to note a 600mm drap from corner of the slab to the other, until after he had laid most of the formwork. 3) He did not want to follow the engineering which required for inspection foundations to natural earth. 3) The slab was not finished smoothly as requested. 4) the concrete did not go down 100mm on all sides and exposed bedding sand. 5) the slab was not level being 25-30mm lower on the right hand side of the slab. 6) The site was left in a mess with at least a metre of excess concrete roughly laid in fron tof the slab with footprints in it plus excess fill left tying around. 7) when I complained to Stan, he refused to come out to inspect the site with me and refused to offer solution, or partial refund. 8) Stan demanded cash payment on the day before I could return home to inspect the work. I am very very disappointed with the work that Stan did. It has cost me extra money to clean up the site and to get the builder to build the shed on a slab that is not level. He only got one star because it was a mandatory requirment on this site.
