A vehicle crossing permit has been obtained from glen eira city council. the existing kerb and channel of the crossing is too narrow for a vehicle to turn in and reverse out particulary when cars are parked opposite our driveway.
apparently if the existing footpath section of the crossing is not 100 mm thick we need to replace that as well so that the crossing will be of uniform thickness from the boundary line to the kerb line. if the footpath is already 100 mm thick we do not need to replace this section
