I am submitting building plans for a 20m2 x 3.6m high extension to my timber deck to Manningham Council and need a structural engineers certificate. Drawings are complete but due to the deck height the building surveyor has requested an engineers certificate. He would be happy with a note on the drawings if they are deemed adequate or mark ups if required.
