Introduction
The Owners Corporation (OC) has received an Emergency Order from Banyule City Council (BCC) requiring our boundary fences to be demolished by Tuesday 2 May 2018. A copy of the Emergency Order is attached.

Approval
All works shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the OC and the BCC

Contracting Company and Workers
The contractor shall:
• Be and remain a Registered Demolisher.
• Provide a team with the necessary knowledge, experience, equipment and storage facilities to the satisfaction of Banyule City Council
• Provide documentary evidence of the demolishers public liability insurance ($20M)

Scope of Work
The work to be completed includes the following:

1. Provide information showing the position and description of hoardings, allotment boundaries, barricades, temporary crossings, protective awnings and outriggers, to the satisfaction of BCC
2. Prepare and provide a written description of the demolition and removal procedure to the satisfaction of BCC
3. Provide evidence that the demolisher has the necessary knowledge, experience, equipment and storage facilities to properly conduct the demolition operations to the satisfaction of BCC
4. Demolish 93 metres of 1.8 metre high, brick boundary fences. Fences to be demolished are shown on the attached diagram. Only demolish down to internal courtyard soil height to ensure existing soil is retained. Most walls are a single brick width thick, but some are two bricks thick. Remove and correctly dispose of all old fence materials
5. Make good any damage to nature strips, footpaths, roads, gutters, laneway, nature strip trees, temporary fencing, roadside seat, contents of courtyards and infrastructure (telecommunications, power supply, gas, water supply, drainage, sewage)
6. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, Australian Standards and BCC requirements.
