We purchased the house in North Sydney last September and are now looking to renovate to :
* Close in the atrium/void by extending the mezzanine floor to the outside wall
* This will give us a full upstairs on which we would like to install a new kitchen (it is currently downstairs), lounge cum dining
* Convert the downstairs kitchen into bathroom/toilet
* Enclose the downstairs dining room to make it a third bedroom
* Change the fixed panels upstairs window to a fully flexible opening door structure to the balcony
* Extend the balcony by about 1 metre, if possible
The house is a typical North sydney 2 bedroom 1 bathroom that was renovated in 1988. It now has the 2 bedrooms then bathroom on upper level leading to the mezzanine overlooking the void. Downstairs is a lounge room, dining room and kitchen with laundry tucked in.
