Dishwasher keeps tripping the safety switch

Basically halfway through the wash cycle the safety switch is triggered.The dishwasher seems to be causing the power to short out. Once the safety switch is reset the wash cycle can be restarted, however it only makes it about halfway before the safety switch is then tripped again. No sign of any obvious leaks
