I currently have a upright electric cooker connected to mains electric via a thick cable into the wall with no socket/switch etc), which needs disconnecting. The new oven has mains plug connector, requiring installation of new powerpoint. Interior walls are accessible at present as new oven cabinet is not yet fixed in.
