I have a 22" lcd screen mounted inside a box frame that is purpose built for in wall or cabinet mounting. a clever sparky will need the following phone and network cabling licence as well as electrical certification and security installers licence
.
a power point is required as well as a cat 5 network lead point to be put inside a wall cavity. an isolation switch will be required on the wall adjacent to the lcd panel. a digital tv antenna cable will also come down the wall behind the unit a series of 2 wire cables will also come down the wall behind it for connection to a supplied comms controller for home security. eg rewad switches and pir sensors.
the residence will also need our supplied ip based network camera to be installed at front entrance and soleniod driven door lock with cable back to our lcd panel.
thus the need for a security installers licence.
this is a unique product that requires special care in installation from a professional.
programming and training will be provided as it will be a regular task to install these.
all hardware will be provided to install and commision. the unit is supplied with an acrylic fascia to give a professional flush mount finish.
we are quite happy to provide when ready a site inspection to get a grip of the scope of the whole job.
an added wrinkle is this product will require the fitting of our supplied dimmer and switch units and light fittings for smarthome automation. this product runs of household power using upb 240 volt protocol. so its a no brainer for a sparky. we will also consider using a carpernter to finish of if you do not have the skills for that task.
