Recently moved in and tried to connect the existing phone line recieved no signal, had a tpg technician come check the mdf and my phone connection inside the unit he sent signals on both the main... Recently moved in and tried to connect the existing phone line recieved no signal, had a tpg technician come check the mdf and my phone connection inside the unit he sent signals on both the main and back-up line on the phone socket inside and said they weren't being recieved at the mdf, which is most likely due to the recent renovations done before we moved in *new carpet* that the cables have been cut. The unit is on the first floor with the mdf located next to the unit inside the common area, I would like to know roughly how much I would be looking at to either repair or replace the line.
