Repair my broken light switch

Everytime I switch on the light in my living room (which is connected to two light bulbs) one of the bulbs will smoke and emit red (flames?) and then it trips the fuse. This has happens (flames and all) 3 times now. When it trips the fuse, the light switches to the whole house are off, and I have to go turn the fuse back on. I don't think it's just a malfunctioning light bulb - it might be the wires. Please help
