Hi,
My mum needs an electrician to replace a non working power point. It is currently a single outlet, with an extra switch, but the extra switch is obsolete. She wants a double. If possible, to relocate it further along the wall (less than a metre). The switch on the power point doesn't move.
She also needs to have her computer connected, and maybe Optus NBN. I believe a plug was dislodged, so maybe an easy fix, although she has a daisy chain of power boards, which I had said is wrong, and possibly dangerous. I think she is best getting a new power board, and maybe extension cord, as this has happened before, but I am unable to go and sort that out for her, otherwise I could sort that out for her.
She needs this done urgently, hopefully today, although my wife is off at the shops getting some groceries and cash for her.
