Safety switch trips at night time

Yesterday morning (17/09/09) my safety switch tripped (only the fridge and a water boiler were running before the trip), I've been told by EnergyAust(EA) that there has been an outage in the hornsby area.
I got EA to come and turn the safety switch back on that afternoon.
The next morning (18/09/09) the same thing has happened, the safety switch tripped again (i believe only the fridge was on before the second trip).
I attempted to reset the safety switch. When the fridge was plugged in, the switch could not be resetted, after unplugging the fridge the switch could be resetted.
I believe the fridge must have some earth leakage problem. But i am not certain.
Please provide a quote to investigate and fix this problem.
