Solar power pack for gate motor

Vas requested 3 quotes from Electricians in Footscray West

  Good morning,
We have an electric motor to open our front gate. Specs:
Input voltage 230Vac-240Vac 50 Hz
Current 1 AMP

It is currently connected to the mains via an outdoor power point. What I was hoping to do was buy a re – chargeable power pack connected to a small solar panel and simply plug the motor cable in to that (storing the pack near the gate motor). Does a licenced electrician need to install? I would think not as it seems to me that all that is happening is an appliance being plugged in for power?
Have Googled this & most configurations come with a motor included with the solar pack.

Thanks for listening, looking forward to your reply.
