I need a site cut getting ready for a new build. Slightly sloping down from north west to south east. Split level floor design to work with the land. Site set-out has been done by surveyor. Will email site plan or meet on site for quote when receive express of interest. Would like to be able to do it in the next few days. Thank you

I post a job about a site cut. Split level with a drop of 600mm. He said he could be a bit expensive but he is very good. Will save me thousand to hire him to come back to fix someone else error. Took away my floor plan. Ok.. Sounds good, to save my time and trouble I will hire him. Give him credit for punctual. Got a laser level, got my plan. Told him what need to be done. No problem, easy job he said. Rush back at noon during lunch break. Excavator is back on the truck, laser level all packed. The site doesn\'t look right to me. He said it is right, trust him, he is experience. Still doesn\'t feel right. \"It is right, I have done it many times, the concretor needs to pack sand, cut a little here and there\". Ok.. if you are so confident, show me in the laser. \"Sorry, I already packed.. I need to rush to hospital to visit someone..\". \"Trust me, it is right. If it is wrong, I will come back\". Call me idiot for believing in him even though I still have some doubts. Paid him and start walking to the station, still don\'t feel right. Tried to call him again, never get through to him again from that on.\r\n\r\nThe job and the cost? check with the surveyor later, on one side he cut into the land 250mm too much. The other side he is short 300mm. How can he be so wrong? Either he can\'t use the laser level or he can\'t read a site plan. How can he claims to be good in site-cutting? In the end, I have an additional 50m3 of soil to dispose of, and the cost for the concretor to pack sand, and I need to hire someone else to re-do the cut.
