Hi,
I require the removal of approximately 24 cubic meters of soil and redistribution of another 4 cubic meters. This soil is to be cleared from a rear garden to accommodate construction of a wooden deck. The actual area of the deck is approximately 54m2. Volume needs to account for removal of the top layer of soil (approximately 300mm depth). There is also a gentle rise over 3m (deck depth) hence have calculated average depth of 500mm
Access is limited - clearance alongside the house is circa 1m wide. However, it would be possible to widen this (up-to a maximum width of 1.4m). This would require site preparation (and need not be quoted). The distance between rear garden and frontage (street) is approximately 35m.
The soil is quite soft (not clay) but will likely expand once fluffed-up.
