We have an existing double gate which opens into a driveway that runs down the side of our house. This gate currently sits forwards from the front of the house. We wish to have this gate removed and replace it with a sliding gate which sits flush with the front of the house to allow us more room on the driveway. It does not need to be motorised. Manual is fine. It does need to be lockable. So far we have contacted over 10 fencing companies. Only 1 has bothered to show up.
Our faith in tradespeople is wearing thin. We have been trying to get this job done for over a month and nobody will come and give us a quote. We need someone who can communicate effectively, arrange an appointment and actually show up to give us a quote and obtain all the correct measurements.
