Replace side fence

Friendly chap, did the job requested, did it in one day. However the items that soured my experience are: blamed me for my estimate of measurements, after repeated requests from me for estimate to be confirmed before commencing work, I was 3m off in the end and charged $500 more. After confirming the job a month before, i messaged him the night before starting to ask what time he would be arriving. 5 mins later I receive a call to be told "the fence parts delivery truck are stuck between Melbourne and Sydney and job will have to be rearranged". I have no idea if this is correct or not, the timing is very suspicious. Job was rearranged to another day a couple of weeks later. One of the fence posts is not straight, its at least 20-30 degrees off at an angle, I'm now trying to hide this with a bush/creeper. All fence post 'tops' are uneven, no uniform height, no angle on top. We were told this is normal, but every fence in this suburb has sloped fence tops and all are even height. The most annoying part is there are gaps between the fence palings, (1-2cm wide in places) especially in most important area for privacy. I'm sure these issues would've been fine over 2 days, but the job was forced into one day, and it shows. Will be looking to repair these issues out of my own pocket later, and unfortunately my neighbour is so annoyed by the result it will probably need to be entirely *my* pocket. EDIT (March 2015): Changed to 1 star, currently the main post that specifically needed replacing, has now split right down the middle, I asked for this one to be strong, it had a large hole + knot in the bend point at the base. Split right to the top. All the fence palings were so green (new) they keep warping and changing shape leaving gaps. Another fencer has already told us we have a serious problem and enough railings haven't been used, and cured/dried fence palings should have been used. He gives it 2 years before it falls apart.
