Polish timber floorboards approx 100mm x 4mts raw unstained in jarrah

When having timber bifolds installed, skirting boards were removed revealing ~100mm raw unstained/polished floorboards underneath for the length of the room. i believe the flooring is jarrah. the rest of the room doesn't require repolishing just yet. is it possible to polished only the 100mm x 4meters unstained portion? or will i need the entire room redone?
