Our house is a 2 level home with a floating timber floor. The objective is to make the home quieter and eliminate impact footfall.
We require:
1. Take up and remove existing carpet and underlay.
2. Take up and remove existing floating timber floor and underlay. Existing skirting is NOT to be removed.
3. If required, existing ply floor to be re-screwed to ensure all movement in flooring is eliminated.
4. Supply and Lay Damtec 2mm standard acoustic underlay to upstairs area consisting of 4 bedrooms, study, dressing room, hallways and robe. (100 sqm) Bonded correctly to existing wooden subfloor.
5. Supply and Lay Platinum Moleskin 4 metre wide carpet on Dunlop GymLay to upstairs areas previously mentioned (100 sqm).
