Job details

• The total flooring area is ~ 32 sq m (on concrete base).
• As you can see from the photos, there are tiles in the entrance and the kitchenette that will need to be removed (total area of tiles to be removed is ~ 4.8 sq m).
• The tiling to the bathroom will require cutting and retaining existing tiles to the entrance of the bathroom (as shown on photo above). Quality cutting of entrance tile important requirement for works.
• The tiles and carpet to be removed and disposed of at tip.
• Following material to be provided by me –
o bamboo floating boards (type: floor select 128mm width, double tongue & groove, engineered bamboo high gloss from bunnings); quads and strips to bedrooms; underlay (please let me know what is best thickness).

Next steps

I am looking for somebody to supply a quote for the above job:

- ripping up tiles and carpets (and cutting of bathroom entrance tile) of flooring area and surface preparation, if needed; removal and disposal of all ripped up tiles and carpet to tip (all tip costs to be included in quote);
- full floor installation, including all ancillary works (such as underlay, installing quads and boundary strips, cutting bathroom entrance tile etc);
- pick up of materials from Bunnings (~10minutes from house)

I will provide the above flooring materials – anything else, please let me know and include in quote. I am open to ideas on timber if you supply (looking for high gloss, timber/ bamboo in lighter colours) but currently chosen bamboo floor as per photos above.
