We are looking to install approximately 60 square metres of timber flooring in a ground floor apartment in Caulfield. The timber is to be laid on top of a concrete sub-floor.
We have been looking at engineered products, but are open to real tiber boards at the right price. At this stage we like darker tibers with a reddish tinge (kempas, sydney bluegum, ironbark, etc).
There will be no furniture to deal with as the apartment is currently vacant. We will prepare the floor in terms of removing carpet and sweeping the slab.
Looking for someone who is able to arrange for supply of timber, preferably at a better price than we are able to get retail, and to lay the floor.
We will be ready to lay in approximately 2 months, so look forward to hearing from you ASAP.
