I knocked my garage door and now it is crooked. The motor is still working and the door can open/close, however I either need a new door or the existing door fixed. My wife in her haste hit the bottom part of the garage door with the back of the car as she was backing out. The roller door is made up of 4 horizontal panels. The bottom panel is now too... The bottom panel is now too extended to allow the door to open. I've tried pushing the panel in with force from the outside, and it doesn't work. I suspect it's the hinges holding the panel in place that needs adjustment. We have a Steel line garage door, that stopped working recently. Pressing the remote would not start the chain (motor still runs, or at least starts up, but chain doesn't move). Moving it by hand... Moving it by hand still works. AFAIK, the motor / mechanism is 10 years old and came with the house.

My garage has a jamb type Tilt door. One of the screws has eaten into the arm and widened the hole that the screw is in. This has resulted in my garage door to droop slightly.
