Repair my garage door - panel extruding too much

My wife in her haste hit the bottom part of the garage door with the back of the car as she was backing out.
The roller door is made up of 4 horizontal panels. The bottom panel is now too extended to allow the door to open.
I've tried pushing the panel in with force from the outside, and it doesn't work. I suspect it's the hinges holding the panel in place that needs adjustment.
Hoping to find someone who's fixed problems like this before
