Trees & Shrubs need drastic cutting and pruning

Due to my husband's terminal illness our front and back gardens have turned into a mini jungle, and numerous tall trees and shrubs now need some DRASTIC cutting back and pruning – as they are overhanging the eaves, fences, and power lines. I would like them all to be cut below roof level – and some even lower.
Whoever applies for this job must also remove ALL cuttings etc. Therefore their quote must include that expense.
I am an aged pensioner and as I have no idea how much this is going to cost I am asking for 2
quotes and will accept the cheapest.

Tom replied promptly and gave a quote on the same day I posted the job and I accepted immediately because I was impressed by his professionalism.\r\nFrom there on it all went down hill......... his lack of communication and respect for his paying customer was sadly lacking. \r\nHe took 2 months and 1 day to finally complete the job! In that time he would turn up – work hard – leave a dreadful mess, and then disappear for days & weeks on end. No messages on my answering machine or emails to inform me about what was going on.\r\nI phoned and emailed him several times which would bring him back for another day and then he would disappear again. I contacted Service Central who in turn contacted him and he seemed to have one excuse after another. Most of them were health problems but one of them was that he had OTHER obligations which did not go down well with me as my job was worth a few thousand dollars and therefore he had an obligation to me too!\r\nAfter all that, I am completely satisfied with the finished job. He did everything I asked for and cleaned up beautifully. A window was accidentally broken but was immediately repaired the very next day. \r\nSo work wise I can not fault him, but he badly needs to become more reliable or at least improve his communication skills and keep his customers informed regarding reasons for delays in not turning up as arranged.
