Hi,
I'm looking for a glazier in or near Craigieburn to come and check our fish tank, and if needed, repair it.
We bought a second hand 6x2x2 fish tank, and when loading it into the truck it came into contact with the truck floor without a blanket underneath and the bottom inner edge of the front glass has a small chip, that I'm concerned with.
I am wanting someone in the know to come and check it out, and advise me on if it needs to be fixed, and if so, how to fix it, and quote on the repair.
My dad suggested that it could be fixed with a resin, similar to the stuff that is used to fix a windscreen.
I'm far from rich, thus my my purchase of a second hand tank, but I want it fixed property. The last thing I want is for the glass to break and flood my house, and lose my fish.
If it needs to have the front glass replaced, and it doesn't cost more than a new tank, then I would definitely have it changed.
I have to have it done on site at my place, as I am unable to lift the tank, as I have hurt my back thanks to a workplace injury. I'm unable to organise anyone to help move it as my friends who picked it up for me complained about the weight and asked me to never call them to lift it again. I have plenty of room for it to be repaired here.
