During extremely heavy rain i have had two separate leaks coming through the ceiling of the lower floor of my two-storey apartment from the upstairs balonies. water seems to be pooling within the cavity above the ceiling and then soaking through the plasterboard join and the light fixtures.
i have engaged plumbers to investigate and fix the source of these leaks and they will need to cut through the plasterboard ceiling in order to do this.
once this work is complete i will need the ceilings re-plastered and repainted. each of the two leaks may require an area of up to one square meter restored with at least one light fixture.
