Cieling needs patching/plastering

I have a vermiculite cieling (yuck) and have removed some petitions in the room. Subsequently, there are some gaps in the cieling showing the concrete underneath. I need it patched up, as best as possible, to match the rest of the cieling. I don't expect it to be vermiculite as that is messy to deal with- i just want the gaps filled.
