There is a wooden window In an upstairs bedroom. One half of it is a fixed pane of glass. The other half has a shutter which can be opened a few inches by winding a handle which pushes out a chain. The shutter is hinged at the top. I want to be able to open the shutter much wider than what is possible now, to allow more airflow into the room. Each half of the window is 85cm x 115 cm. A removable flyscreen is positioned on the inside of the open-able window, and this must be kept. Note: it is difficult to access the window from the outside, as it is on an upper floor.
