Paving - re-pave front and back courtyards

I would like to re-pave back and front courtyards and before christmas. The front courtyard is small approx 5x4, back is approx 5x7. I would also like to paint the brickwork at back to match the new pavers. At present, i do not have a garden or pot plants but do wish to create a small garden at front (afternoon sun) and add pots & plants at back (morning sun). I did have an architect design some options for the back to create a decked alfresco dining area which may assist landscaper - moving forward without the decking - repaving instead.
