Our property has a leaking roof which is in the hands of our landlord to repair. we have two consulting rooms that need to be re-painted. one wall will need to be repaired as two clients have fallen into the wall and there are two holes that will need to be repaired before painting it.
the second wall has water damage, and will continue to suffer this damage everytime it rains until our roof is fixed (ongoing issue). our solution involves possibly mounting a board about 40cm wide about 5mm off the wall and painting it. this way, the water will run down behind it and not damage the paint. we also thought about mounting some marine ply (or other water resistant material) and painting that. suggestions welcome.
