Repair external motor on aluminium window louvres

We have external motorised aluminium window louvres on a large 3 panel second floor window (2 windows, 1 central pane of glass). the switch for the motor is in the apartment and has been checked by an electrician who indicated the power supply was fine, however the louvres have stopped opening/closing. there is no indication of supplier/installer on the louvres at all. the small rectangular motor box is fixed to the inside of the louvres frame, facing the window.
