The issue is whoever installed the boards did not leave any allowance for expansion gap and was laid incorrectly.
Due to this the boards are expanding along the walls and into the skirting boards.
What will be required to rectify this issue is to cut approximately 10mm from all the floor boards around all perimeter walls including the bedrooms. There is evidence of humps in all rooms varying from small to large.
We may need to also replace the beading around the skirting boards and this will depend whether we can remove the beading without any damage.
